I have that same glassware showcased in my china closet in my dining room. Every so often I look at them remembering the times we shared breaking bread together.

2. A few things to avoid: Make sure the glass is not too small. Wine needs air to breathe to show off its many qualities. You also need room to do the famous “swirl”.
3. Glasses without a stem make poor wine glasses. The stem is to keep your 98.6 degree hand away from your 58 degree wine.
4. A perfect glass may heighten the experience of drinking a great wine.
5. Quality and value: The glass should be delicate enough to enhance the wine but not so fragile that it cannot be washed by hand.
6. Take the time to choose the right glasses for you. You wouldn’t eat a four star dinner off of styrofoam plates would you?
