Dunbar, Bender & Zapf, Inc. (DBZ), the largest independent Actuarial consulting/TPA firm in the Pittsburgh region, announced that Nicholas J. Zapf, CPC, QPA, has been selected by the company’s shareholders as president, succeeding Mark Dunbar, who will continue to serve as a senior consultant with the company.
Zapf has more than 15 years of experience with DBZ as a consultant, partnering with accountants, financial advisors, retirement plan wholesalers, and attorneys to provide customized retirement plan solutions. He is a graduate of Grove City College, a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA), and has attained the professional designations of Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) and Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA).
