Bridgeville, PA, September 27, 2017: Ed’s Woedshed is proud to share their recent contribution to the newly added brewhouse at Bridgeville’s Pittsburgh Bottleshop Cafe. With construction plans devised by Pittsburgh Bottleshop owner Marc Davis and General Manager Erik Grieco, Ed’s Woodshed was pleased when approached by the neighboring local business.

“We know Mr. Davis and Mr. Grieco could have enlisted any other chimney installer in the Greater Pittsburgh area, but they chose us,” says Jim Walnoha, owner of Ed’s Woodshed.

With an extensive knowledge about residential and commercial chimney systems, Ed’s Woodshed installed chimney piping designed to release high levels of CO2 emitted during the fermentation process. High toxic levels of CO2 created by this important, yet dangerous part of the brewing process requires certain safety measures.

Jim Walnoha  further explains, “C02 is an asphyxiant. We at Ed’s Woodshop know a lot about ensuring proper ventilation for this deadly gas. We take it very seriously.”

With the recent surge of local breweries and craft houses popping up around Pittsburgh, Ed’s Woodshed is proud to have been part of such an exhilarating part of the Pittsburgh craft beer scene.

In the heart of the South Hills is Ed’s Woodshed, located on Vanadium Road in Bridgeville, PA. Specializing in commercial and residential chimney work, wood burning and gas fireplaces, gas grills, we are open 6 days a week. The Pittsburgh Bottleshop and Brewhouse opened its microbrewery on August 4, 2017 with a weekend long celebration.
