New Driver Interactive Workshops

Andy’s Auto Service holds Interactive Workshops for soon-to-be and new drivers!

Interactive Workshops are held in a very cool and raw environment, our actual automotive shop! The goal is to offer valuable information and tools that allow students to be a responsible and safe driver, as well as prepare them for the unexpected with hands on learning. This experience, being outside of a classroom environment, is meant to be unique and memorable.

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Change a flat tire
  • Jump start a car
  • Understand the basic fundamentals of an engine
  • Check and refill engine fluids
  • Understand what to do in the event of an accident
  • Understand what to do during a police interaction
  • And more…

Special guest, Bridgeville Police Officer, participates by speaking on key topics such as “The importance of NOT drinking and NOT texting while driving” and “What to expect if/when stopped by an officer”.

Upon completion of the Interactive Workshop, students sign a “Road Safety Promise” and receive a “New Driver Package”.
