Pittsburgh Business Show Hires Vice President of Sales and Events

The Pittsburgh Business Show, the city’s largest B2B trade show and networking event, announced that it has hired Amanda Clapper as Vice President of Sales and Events.

In this position, Amanda will be advancing the Pittsburgh Business Show’s agenda of connecting businesses to people, resources, and products in the region. Her roles will include promoting exhibitor space, media connections, speaker presentations and workshops, and introducing sponsorships to the business audience in and around western Pennsylvania. She has more than seven years of experience in college admissions and education business development and earned a degree in business management.

“I have always enjoyed building relationships with businesses throughout my career. As VP of Sales and Events, I‘m looking forward to helping the Pittsburgh Business Show grow this year and beyond. Our Show is the only place in Pittsburgh that allows attendees to build their skills, network, gain advice, and make connections. I’m proud to be a part of that,” said Amanda.

She will work alongside Pittsburgh Business Show President Linda Jo Thornberg to grow the 2018 Show in its second year. The 2017 Pittsburgh Business Show attracted 150 exhibitors, more than 30 speakers, 10 media partners, and thousands of attendees.
